The New York Times and Yahoo Sports, reported that Caitlin Clark recorded 27 points, 15 assists, 7 rebounds, 4‑4 free throws and a 9‑18 field‑goal night in Game 2 against the Las Vegas Aces. The stat line marked the first 25‑point/15‑assist half and the first half‑double‑double in WNBA playoff history.
The performance lifted the Indiana Fever past the Aces, extending the series and averting immediate elimination. The win underscores Clark’s role as the Fever’s catalyst in the postseason.
Separately, league officials are considering a fine for Clark stemming from a technical incident during the game. The exact amount and timing of any sanction remain uncertain pending the WNBA’s review.
